The two internal light wells are a distinct architectural feature of this building and have high added value due to limited perimeter window surface and a comparably deep floor plate with low ceiling height.

As shown in daylight assessment study, practical daylight benefits of light wells toward the surrounding spaces will be limited; however, light wells will provide a vital visual connection to natural light conditions externally and show the passage of time. Both of these aspects will be further enhanced through artificial lighting.
